Nestled in the heart of the Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval nature reserve, the Refuge de la Vogealle lies on the Tour des Dents Blanches route but is also accessible via a 3- to 4-hour walk from the Cirque du Fer-à-Cheval. It offers comfortable accommodation and is ideally situated for using it as a base for hiking or as a stopover on various alpine and wilderness trails, whether in the mid-range or high mountains.
