Stage description Barme – Bonaveau
We start by leaving the plateau of Barme flat by the eastern end before going up in zig zag towards the signal of Bonaveau. This small climb through the pasture is very nice as still relatively shaded in the morning.
We pass a nice chalet where we can also refresh ourselves a little at the fountain before continuing the journey.
Once at the crossroads between the descent to the refuge of Bonaveau and the signal of the same name it may be worth making the little detour of barely 300m in order to enjoy the magnificent view on Champéry from the summit.
From the signal, we then retrace our steps and at the junction, we take the small path that goes down and about twenty minutes later we reach the beautiful terrace of the refuge of Bonaveau.
This stage is very easy; The path is wide and perfectly marked.
